WHY TRAIN WITH DYNAMIC WEIGHTS?
Ever heard a coach say 'brace your shoulder' or 'squeeze your glutes'? Well, our CHAOS® Stability products do that for you. It's like your own personal coach teaching you how, and when to stabilise.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The unpredictable nature of moving water feeds the body with rich training stimulus. Your motor control system responds to this chaotic environment by bracing the muscles surrounding vulnerable joints.
Not only do these bracing mechanisms, known in the literature as co-contractions, protect your body from injury but they also improve rate of force development (RFD) in explosive sports by quickly reducing muscle slack.

SETTING UP YOUR CHAOS® BALL

1. Open Valve
Unscrew the cap and press the spring down

2. Add Water
Add as much or as little water-weight as you need

3. Add Air
Press the spring again, then use the hand pump to inflate the ball

4. Close Valve
Screw the cap back on and you're ready to go!

FAQs
HOW MUCH WATER SHOULD I PUT IN MY CHAOS® BALL?
It depends on a few factors:
- Your age / fitness level
- What exercise you are performing
Regardless of those two factors, we recommend always keeping the water level less than 30% of the overall ball volume. Reason being that you need a certain amount of negative space for the water to be able to move around inside the ball properly!
If you are struggling with an exercise, always reduce the amount of water.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE WATER INSIDE MY CHAOS® BALL?
Regularly changing the water inside your CHAOS® Ball is important to avoid water discolouration/water odour... we recommend once every 2-3 months.
To keep the water clearer for longer, you can also add a small amount of plain white vinegar... one tablespoon is plenty!
CAN I TRAVEL WITH MY CHAOS® BALL?
Absolutely. This is one of the key features of the CHAOS® Ball.
Simply drain and deflate the ball, before tucking it away inside your backpack/training bag. The pump and accessories are small and lightweight, which means the whole system takes up minimal space.
CAN I USE MY CHAOS® BALL AS A MEDICINE BALL?
No. Your CHAOS® Ball is not meant to collide with hard surfaces like floors or walls. Do not use your CHAOS® Ball as a substitute for medicine ball training.
IS THE CHAOS® BALL SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES?
Yes! The benefit of having an adjustable weight system means you can customise the CHAOS® Ball to suit athletes of all different ages/training experiences.
The CHAOS® Ball should always be used with appropriate supervision and understanding of how to use the product.
It is essential to consult a doctor before using the CHAOS® Ball if you have any underlying health issues, an existing injury, or are pregnant. Immediately stop using if experiencing pain or discomfort.
WHAT IF MY CHAOS® BALL IS A SLIGHT OVAL SHAPE?
When you first inflate your CHAOS® Ball, it may be slightly oval shaped, this is completely normal - you just need to wear it in!
Once the ball has been filled with water and tensioned with the handle bands a few times, the PVC material will soften and it will become more spherical.
All you need to do now is find a pole and get started!
HOW SHOULD THE CHAOS® BALL BE STORED?
Always store your CHAOS products in a cool, dry place. Do not leave it in heated environments such as a car, direct sunlight or hot garage as it may cause the material to bend.
